MOTHER MAE LOIS WHITE

How it all started...


Supervisor Mae Lois Tudman White was born June 21 st in Pittsburg, Texas to the late Superintendent and Missionary Harold Tudman. She is the second of six children born to this union. Mother White’s family moved to Mt. Pleasant when she was turning one year old. She attended Primary School in the community where she lived. She then attended Booker T. Washington Elementary, Junior High and High School where later graduated with the class of 1968 as Valedictorian. Mother White attended Texas A&M University, formerly known as East Texas University where she received a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Education with a minor in Sociology in 1972. She then proceeded to secure a Masters of Science Degree in Education in 1974 from said University.
After graduation in 1972, Mother White was employed by Mt. Pleasant Independent School District and was placed at E.C. Brice Elementary School where she was named “Teacher of the Year” that school year; 1972-1973. The next year Mother White was transferred to Vivian Fowler Elementary School where she has served for fifty-three years to date. Mother White was named “Teacher of year again in the 1991-1992 school year. In that same year, the Charter of Vivian Fowler National Honor Society (NEHS) was changed to the Campbell-Edwards-White National Honor Society (NEHS) as acknowledgement of her forty-fifth year of service to children. In the 2015-2016 school year Mother White was again selected as “Teacher of the Year” but this time it was by the Mt. Pleasant’s Community and Friends.
As a young child, Mother White attended church with her parents at the First Church of God in Christ under the leadership of the late Superintendent J. L. Lyons. Mother White got saved at the age of twelve during a Sunday night service at the Full Gospel Church in Mt. Pleasant, Texas under the leadership of the late Apostle L. K. McGill. On June 17, 1972, Mother White married the love of life, the late James Charles (JC) White of Winnsboro, Texas. He pastored the Mt. Olive Church of God in Christ for twenty-three years and was the owner and Contractor of the J. C. White Cement and Construction Company. They had two beautiful children (Jared (JC) White, owner of J. C. White Funeral and Cremation
Services of Mt. Pleasant, Texas and Dr. Natalie White, Counselor and Registrar for the Mesquite Independent School District.
In 1990, Mother White was selected as District Supervisor of Women of the Progressive District under the leadership of Superintendent Alton Davis. In 1991, Mother White became a licensed Missionary under the leadership of the late Bishop Frank W. Smith, Jr. until his demise. Mother White then served under the late Bishop T. W. Johnson, and the late Superintendent Alford Key, Sr. Mother White currently serves as District Supervisor of Women under the leadership of Superintendent, Dr. Francis Rundles of the Greater Hope Outreach District for a total of thirty-four years.
Mother White became a member of the Maranatha Church of God in Christ in 2005 under the tutelage of her nephew Bishop Joel A. Tudman and currently under the leadership Elder William Summers, Pastor. She serves on the Finance Committee, Assistant Secretary,
Missionary, and Bible Study Teacher. Mother White served as Chairman of Finance for the Women’s Department of the Texas Northeast Third Ecclesiastic Jurisdiction. She served under the leadership of the late
Mother Ophelia Evans and the late Mother Patricia Roach. Officially Consecrated in November of 2025, Mother White currently serves as the Supervisor  of the Texas Northeast Third Jurisdiction Department of Women under the leadership, Bishop N. J. Gatlin, Prelate.
Mother White’s favorite scripture is Psalm 27:1 “The Lord is my light and mysalvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?”
